SDK Console Commands, v1.0118

These are commands that are used to read or control the cybiko from the SDK Console. Consider NOT using the ones marked DANGER.

[ filename.ext ] - Execute a file if it's executable.

avr - Coprocessor Control/Read

   avr ?             - command help
   avr compare <filename_against>
   avr read <filename_to>
   avr write <filename_from> **DANGER**
   avr eeread [ address ]
   avr eewrite <address> <data> **DANGER**
   avr eewrite16 <datastring> **DANGER**

boot - Sets Boot File DANGER

   boot [ filename ] - Ex: boot comp1.2.55r.boot

cfg - Display Current Configuration

   cfg ?                   - Lists the different functions and how to use
   cfg                     - Displays the current configuration on the Cybiko
   cfg dump                - Same as 'cfg' but shows cfg file version as well
   cfg [ function ] [ action ] - list a device name and device size info

channel - Sets/Returns Current RF Channel

   channel       - Report current setting
   channel [ 0-9 ] - Set the RF channel

cp - Copy File

     cp { -f | -v } source_file    destination_file
     cp { -f | -v } source_file(s) destination_directory
     -f -- overwrite without confirmation
     -v -- verbose (say what is going on)

     Examples: cp test.txt testbak.txt    - Copy file to another file.
               cp test.txt a/testbak.txt - Copy file to expansion card.

fdoctor - Flash Repair DANGER

   fdoctor ? - command help
   fdoctor v - verbose mode - more comments
   fdoctor i - inspection mode - fast scanning, no attempts to modify flash

format - Used to format flash device on the Cybiko DANGER - DO NOT USE

id - Report Cybiko ID

imgrcv - Receive an Image File (PC → Cybiko)

   imgrcv [ filename.ext ] [ file_size ]

keyboard - Set keyboard Driver DANGER

   keyboard [ filename.ext ]

lcd params - Sets each color value DANGER

   Ex: lcd params 3 0 12 18 31     <- Normal Contrast, Normal Brightness

DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. YOUR DISPLAY WILL TURN ALL WHITE AND YOU WILL SEE NOTHING WITH THE WRONG SETTINGS.

ls - List File(s) (Use -l option for detailed list

   ls [ filename.ext ]    - list a file or files on the Cybiko no file size info
   ls -l [ filename.ext ] - list a file or files on the Cybiko with file size info
   ls -l //*             - list boot flash space data only
   ls -l //default//*     - list files on main boot flash
   ls -l //a//*           - list files on expansion card

os_kind - Displays OS Information (release/debug?)

pc - PC / Local Select

   pc on   - "Connected to PC..." mode
   pc off  - Regular mode
   pc root - Regular mode & Refresh Desktop

rcv - Receive a File (PC → Cybiko)

   rcv [ filename.ext ] [ file_size ] -     Ex: rcv my.app 600
To get the cybiko to receive a boot file and execute it immediately, (i.e. Don't save it to the file system it needs to be sent immediately upon power up or reset. The first 4 bytes of any boot file MUST be 12,34,AB,CD (plain file) or 01,C0,FF,AB (LZSS ompressed file.

CyWIG uses this technique to boot a cybiko as a server.

reboot - Reboot the cybiko

rm - Remove File DANGER

   rm  [ filename.ext ] - DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING!

rootinfo - Displays file attribute info (Only available in PC ON mode.)

   rootinfo                - Show root info for all files
   rootinfo [ filename.ext ] - Show root info for a file

sformat - Used to soft format flash device on the Cybiko DANGER - DO NOT USE

sysinfo - System Info

   sysinfo ?     - command help
   sysinfo flash - Report info about the flash

tsync - Time Synchronization (Only available in PC ON mode.)

   tsync [ number ] - Set "trusted time" to [ number ].

upl - Upload a file (Only available in PC ON mode.) (Cybiko → PC)

   upl [ filename.ext ]

ver - Display OS Version

safe - Xtreme only - register and tasklist dump
